Prestige Tree Services

Prestige offers the following large tree services:

Prestige does not prune or remove trees. We will be happy to refer qualified companies that provide these services.

• Visual Tree Analysis (VTA)
• Resistograph® Analyses
• Pre-construction and post construction analysis
• Tree prescriptions to reduce damage by construction activities or to maintain or improve tree health
• Tree inventories
• Pesticide applications when appropriate for the suppression of tree pest such as Ambrosia Beetle
• Soil injected fertilizations utilizing proprietary nutrient mixtures based on the sites requirements, including micronutrients, fertilizer, bio-stimulants and mychorrizae when appropriate
• Drill aeration utilizing a backfill in each aeration hole to maintain aeration properties as long as possible

Fees

Fees are set by the individual company with which you contract. We are not a government or non-profit organization and thus we do charge for our time when providing services. The following is the basic fee structure used to determine the cost for services provided. We do require payment at the time we provide the tree services and we prefer that the customer is present when we do the analyses. We do not cover all areas of Metro Atlanta but can refer you to other ISA Certified Arborists if needed. In many cases it is advantageous to use the Resistograph® to do the tree analysis.

Visual Tree Assessment Only (VTA)

• This is done from the ground with no climbing involved.
• The cost is based on $150.00 per hour on site time with a $150.00 minimum charge. Most VTA's can be completed in one hour unless the property is very large and there are multiple trees involved.
• A verbal report is provided. Additional written reports or letters that are requested are billed separately at $100.00 per hour for preparation and delivered by either mail or e-mail.
• We do require payment at the time we provide the tree services
• If any climbing is required we will refer you to another ISA Certified Arborist for this service.
• If the tree is found to be hazardous and we suggest removal or if pruning work must be done, Prestige can supply referrals for this work.

Resistograph® Analysis with Visual Tree Assessment

• Resistographs® are precision instruments and as such are very expensive tools. Results must be read by knowledgeable, trained personnel, thus the cost for Resistograph® analyses is relatively high per tree. Results are not always conclusive but do give the inspector valuable, additional information that is used in determining the condition of the tree being analyzed.
• Most Resistograph® analyses can be completed on site and the verbal interpretation of the results provided. A copy of the Resistographs® graphs will be mailed or emailed as soon as possible. Additional detailed written reports or letters that are requested are billed separately at $100.00 per hour for preparation and delivered by either mail or e-mail. Resistograph analyses can be time consuming depending upon the condition of the tree.
• Analyses of buttress roots, trunk base and lower trunk (up to breast height): $250.00 per tree.
• We do require payment at the time we provide the tree services.
• Occasionally trees must be climbed to determine the condition of aerial trunks and branches. If the tree requires climbing we can refer you to another ISA Certified Arborist.
• If the tree is found to be hazardous and we suggest removal or if pruning work must be done Prestige can supply referrals for this work.

Tree prescriptions

• Tree prescriptions are carried out pre or post construction (preferably pre-construction) and provide detailed, written instructions as to tree protection, damage reduction or remediation procedures, fertilization and pesticide application programs and watering guidelines.
• Tree prescriptions usually cost $150.00 for single trees but the cost can be higher depending upon the size of the property and number of trees involved.
• Prestige can perform the suggested work or it can be bid to other companies. If pruning work must be done Prestige can supply referrals for this portion of the prescription.
• We do require payment at the time we provide the tree services.

Cost is based on the square footage encompassed by the tree’s canopy and root system. Cost is based on $150.00 per hour with a one hour minimum.
