Rhizoctonia blight

Rhizoctonia blight on fescue, also called Brown Patch, is easily identified by the leafspot that appear on the blades of grass. This disease develops in May as temperatures begin to warm.  Proper watering can reduce the incidence and severity of this disease.  Once the disease develops fungicides must be used to keep the disese controlled.
